Having been welcomed onboard the gleaming carriages, settle into the comfort of the train's Day Cars - choose from the Saloon, Bar or Observation carriages, or try them all out ! A sumptuous lunch and refined afternoon tea are both served in one of the two opulent Dining Cars, and later you can relax over an early evening drink or cocktail in the Bar Car. There is also ample time to watch the passing scenery and panoramic views from the open-air viewing deck area of the Observation Car, visit the Saloon Car Reading Room with its varied library, and browse for gifts and mementoes in the Boutique. As twilight falls, the modern skyline of Kuala Lumpur comes into view. Disembark at Kuala Lumpur’s magnificent Moorish-style station in the early evening.
